So im looking at purchasing these springs for $100shipped

The part # is 8249.140 (1.2" drop) The chasis is the same (MCV20) on my solara and camry, but they have different part numbers. The one "made" for the solara is part number 8258.140 (1.6" drop).

Can someone help me out real quick? They have 40k on them, is that good for $100? I mean i can get new Tein for $165...

buy them brand new or buy teins brand new. it will be more$$ but 40k miles is quite a bit.... try not to buy used suspension parts, unless they have low low miles. (my opinion)

as far as i know (i dont know much) the camry and solara suspension is the same...

I would get new springs, either eibach (pro-kit) or Tein. Just makes sure you get authentic Teins, a lot of people try to post fake ones on ebay.

i think $100 is steep. but then again????

I have gen4 trd-camry springs on my solara. The part number for trd camry and sol are the exact same minus the last the digits being CAM for camry and SOL for solara. I'll go home and look at my box to give your my part numbers. But to answer your question, yes they fit and are exact same!

Looks like theres some confusions, but im getting more "yes's" then no's.

So you all think 100shipped is too much?

What if i replace my shocks with KYB's ($235) can I still/should i still use my origional springs? They have 100K?

you can, but you should not. 100k miles is a lot.
