TRD Front Strut Bar

TRD Front Strut Bar

Hey guys,

just put the TRD RSB in tonight and I absolutely love it!! (Feels like a get a whole extra full turn from the steering wheel when aggressively turning.) on the track setting.

When playing in a vacant lot tonight, it does feel that the back is much much tighter, however without a TRD Front Strut bar (supercharged so i cant use the stock one) I feel as though the front is extremely loose. Almost lost control under aggressive turning!!!! (also have the tociko/eibach setup)

anyway, can anyone personally vouch for the extra stability in the front from the addition of a TRD Front Strut Bar??? Going to get it anyway, just wanted that piece of mind thats all.

Thanks guys,

Travis (stund41)

I'm a gen 2 ('04).... but I suspect the benefit of LOCKING IN your front end will be similar...

BAM!! Major improvement in everything from reduced push to improved traction, reduced wheel hop, (on launch), substantial improvement on turn-in, and general rigidity under various road conditions, even in a straight line... Definitely worthwhile...

Additional improvement was immediately noted when I added the RSB two weeks later.

Now I just need the progressive springs...

Is this on a Camry or a Solara? If you got a 1st gen TRD blower for a Solara, IIRC the TRD front bar was not yet available but they shipped anyhow. If you want to spend a couple of bucks, TRD does have one available for tghe Solara that will fit a supercharged car.
