I can't wait to see the final product. Everything looks great, you definitely know your stuff. I have an extra set of gen 1's if you want them. They're half smoked from my f*ck up of a project, but you can use them to break apart and what not. Shoot me a PM if you do.

Is there a way for you to sand down some of that textured glass off the inside of the light???? So it will not look as hazy.

Hi guys, I am still here. I've been working 12 hour days lately...so the health isn't bad anymore.... I just recently bought a daily driver Protege and my Solara has been sitting for 3 weeks now.

Once this overtime at work is over, I'll get back on the Solara, get the tails finished up and I'll post more info.

Wish I could, and I wish I could mold reflectors too. lately I have been seeing some very tastefully done aftermarket LED tails on certain cars...they look just like OEM except for the fact that the cars are wayyyy too old to have had them stock. The setup for the Solara's needs to be this way unless I can come up with the cash to buy a shipping container full of LED tails from Taiwan and sit on them for the next ten years trying to sell all 4,000 pairs....

Holy crap i thought this thread was dead on on the retrofit.....
But now since "madeinchina" has done some big progress now i'm goin' to keep an eye on this thread.
