I prototyped a set of high quality aluminum racing pedals for my Gen 2 from www.ultimatepedals.com

You can see them at: http://www.angelfire.com/ky3/gabby/pedals.htm

They are also now available with black, flat rubber inserts (see their website).

Never saw white OBX's. THe OBX's I bought were silver, though I see they make 'em in Red and blue. They seem to get a little dirty if its raining out and you get some mud on 'em. They clean real easy with some Dove and water. Depends on the make but the auto's brake is usualy different from the manual. the accelerator is usually the same. Its all subjective but I like the OBX's.

I went with Sparco. Its a name that is synonamous with racing. Just look at thier website for a style that you like. I went with gold and blue... matches my cars color scheme.

Sparco makes some real nice stuff. Momo too. There really is a wide variety to choose from. Even frickin Walmart sells some I think they are made by Pilot, they look pretty good.

You're kidding me? All of these manufacturer's pedals will fit our Gen 2s? Is there some kind of universal mounting or something???

I have a Gen 1.
Besides, these pedals are NOT slip ons. I had to drill holes in my existing pedals to install them.

Don't know about that. Most of them require drilling. The pedals are pretty small(at least for the clutch and brake on my manny). Then you have to worry about the accelerator being to big and what not. Hence, I Went with the OBX"S they light up my grey/silver interior. cost 40 bucks. From my point of view it was well spent money. The Dealer charges 159.00 installed as an add on for the OBX's around here. THey were a pain to put on to say the least but then yu reap the rewards once you get 'em on.

dude, how much did they charged you for that whole set? it's absolutely beautiful. does it fit perfectly?

i want to get just like your set with solara logo but i want it smooth with flat rubber grips. i think it's going to cost at least $170. that's pretty damn expensive.

Its really subjective. Personally I don't like the ulimates at all, especially with the screws showing and no contrast. If you really wanted to I'm sure you could find some that cost over a grand. You said you don't like the OBX's cause they get to dirty. So you should be sure you won't have that problem with whatever you choose. After all there just pedals and what you get from them is nothing but cosmetics. If your interested I can point you to a 300.00 shift knob :)

Is that what you were thinking of? This may sound silly, but I really want that.
