2007 Solara SLE Ragtop

Heres my new car.

I have owned it now for 21 days however have only had the car in my possession for 5 days, the rest of the time it has been in the shop getting work done to it.

Last week we had the Sirius Satellite Radio installed which interfaces with the Navigation system. This week they are taking it out. For the 12 minute ride from the dealer to our house the signal was out for over 6 minutes durring the ride.

I have had Sirius Satellite Radio in my other cars and when I have had dropouts they lasted only for a second or two.

Why should I pay almost $700 for Satellite Radio when I can get a Sirius Plus and PLay radio for $70 that gives me no dropouts. Plus the antenna from toyota is HUGE.

Here take a look how huge this antenna is... And its stuck on with double sided tape. On my other cars the antenna is about the size of a half dollar (slightly larger) and I almost NEVER have dropouts.

The dealer tells me that "Sirius's signal sucks" and "Thats the way Sirius is supposed to work"

Whoa... that thing is huge... that's not the same as the ones I've seen... (they couldn't possibly have changed it for the 07's, could they?)

nice looking car and im sorry for your sirus prblems but that antenna is HUGE! someone can easily rip that off. i hope you find a better way to place it in a safer area.
