I'm almost POSITIVE this will rub the rear strut in most cases. Too much backspacing.

I had 18x8 @ +40 and they rubbed the strut. I had to get 2mm spacers to put them out to +38 to get to not rub.

8" wide optimally should be about +38 for the best chance to fit without any additional spacers or fender modification if dropped. +40 MAY rub the strut, an +35 MAY need to shave/roll the fenders when dropped. Its not exact because of differences of "lips" on tires, section width (how much tires "bubble out") and manufacturing variance (remember were talking millimeters here).
