Installed TRD kit and Renova grill

Postby Smoothro » Mon Oct 09, 2006 1:02 pm

Finally was able to install the kit and grill after I had everything painted. Ended up paying a local shop $350 to paint the kit and grill, and he did a great job!! I like the grill, however, the black coating on the mesh is already starting to chip away. Anyone know the best place to get black mesh? Hope you enjoy the pics

But none the less its clean..

That is wicked looking. I love it.

I don't think it needs the mesh on the bottom. (I guess I got sick of the mesh on every aftermarket body kit) This looks very clean with nothing cheesy.

In my opinion, it might be time to change that OE muffler. (All things in good time right?) The rear would look very aggressive with a nice Greddy cannister there.

Looks sweet! I'm lovin' the grille.
I got some really good quality, thick mesh from here:
CustomCarGrills

I used to have the Diamond XXL flat mesh powdercoat gloss black. It was really thick and the black never chipped after a year or so on the road. But, I'd think the Extreme mesh would look cool. But, you don't have the variety of powdercoat. I believe their powdercoat is much better than just spraying it. It was around $50, but definately worth it.

yeah the driver's side rear valence is a little off. It was the first one I did, so it definitely was a trial and error deal. I used the last bit of tape oon the rear center valence, so I have to wait until I have more time to go get some more tape and apply it, but I sure am loving it!! Thanks for all the comments
