Ok For a while I had been looking at getting some wheels (Drifz 505B) but now that I've taken a good look at them, I don't like them anymore. I am looking for BLACK wheels w/glossy finish and chrome lip. I am open for ANY ideas!!! (18's only)

As far as budget goes, I'd like to keep it $1,500 or less (w/tires). Come on, let's see what you guys got!

G-Games Sidewinder 2 peice. THese are $423 a peice 19x10. I believe they do come in 18's, but these are 19's. Just to give you an idea. Btw these are made by Mackin Industries, same as Volks.

I like the Sidewinder, but it's a bit over my budget! LOL and I'm looking for black wheels. I like the ASA AR1 and the Zinik Z12 so far. Now do you guys know if the black area sticks out? because that is why i decided to go against the Drifz, the black area sticks out and I dont like that. From what I see in the ASA AR1s, it looks like it stays deep, but I can't tell much from the Ziniks. The Sidewinders would be perfect if they were (1) cheaper, and (2) black.

A skateboarded solara would look hot! :P

To answer your quesiton on if the black part of the rim sticks out. I believe on most rims for fwd they do and then they curve in at the outer part of the rim to show a lip. I think there are some ways to get past that but im not totally sure what it is. It probably has to do with the design of the rim and a combo of the offset. I can picture it in my mind but Im having a hard time explaining it. You may have to go with a typical fwd rim. I have see the asa ar1 in person before and they are flat with a lip. But the lid is not very deep. From what I can see in the pix all the black rims stick out except the AR1. But it doesnt look bad.

Some of you other rim guys might want to elaborate.

Hey what do you guys think of these:

SportMax - 006 Chrome Lip
This design is ok but what I like the most is the fat, shinny lip
Image

Nex-O - M20
I really like this design but I'm afraid the black area sticks out too and it's not flat like I want it.

Of course here is option C:

I want to get silver RX330 wheels for my black Solara. But I did find these on eBay for $300 in black. I really like 'em too, good price and all. But I would not do all black on my car....
