Ok,

So I called dromo 1 today regarding group rates and I spoke to a great rep which gave me a couple of options. I will try to explain each one in detail so you decide on which type of event you want to do.

First one:

The first event I can book, they called a Private event. This requires a min of 12 drivers and a max of 16 drivers. What this even will do is they actually put it as a tournament style event. They will book the track and have it closed down and only OUR group will be allowed to race on the track. Time frame of the event will be from 10am to 11:30am on Saturdays only.

With this event they brief, suit up and train you from 10am to 10:30am (30 mins). We will be racing from 10:30 to 11:30am. Thier will be 5 races in the event. The first 4 is 6 laps per a race with everyone on the track. The last race event will only be the top 9 ppl from the first 4 races (This can show how great of a driver you really are) in a 10 lap race. They will actually take pics of the group along with giving a trophie to the person that wins the tournament with your info engraved.

Price for this event is $69.00 per person. $69 x 12 ppls min and 16 max.
They need me to put a 50% down at the time of booking. They need a 1.5 week advance time for booking. But this is a great price as one race that last 12 mins is $25.00 bucks and you race with everyone else there.

I will be looking to book it on Nov 11 ot Nov 18 due to the fact that they will only take these kind of event's on Sat.

Second:

We can do a group single race. They will not discount the price but only 9 racers will be allowed sometimes 10 and it will be a 20 to 25 lap race of about 12 mins. Cost will be $25.00 and we can show up on any day to do this kind of event without booking.

This second one is a simple event.
But I would like to make this a experience we won't forget.

Please post your suggestions and what kind of event you would like to do. I would really like to do the first one but I know its kind of pricey. But I think its well worth it for the time frame we get to use the track.

But its really up to you all.
If we plan on doing the private event I would need to take a deposit from everyone. At least Half of it so I can book it and make the deposit.

Let me know what you guys think.
Regards,
Kenny

I'd like to do the tournament style event, that sounds awesome! But, I don't mind doing the other if we had to.

I've done the normal $25 one plenty of times, but I think the tourney would be the most fun.

So c'mon people, STEP IT UP

It wasn't the price for some of us........ It is the squareness...

Sounds like a blast. If not for the 3000 mile commute, I'd be all over it.
