I do not provide cats, you must source your own and every exhaust shop has them in stock. I do not also source o2 Simulator. You can find that at URDUSA or ebay for cheap.

http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php?t=30312
This is the link to installing your 02 Simulator. I am not responsible with the information. People were asking me so I thought I link you to another members work.

Please understand that there are allot of error that can happen on the dyno. In this sheet was a before and after of the Y pipe WITH slight SAFC2 calibrating. Just a rough estimate what it can give you. ALL cars are different. This happens to be mine. If you think Im bs'ing look at the TQ, with even the gains the car was flowing so easily to give any TQ
(I had to run a before that day because we were afraid of running too lean to pop the motor. Im not dumb to straight up run a car with a new mod without running richer. Although both dyno was in the mid 12- low/mid 13 A/F)

I have another sheet with more to it but I cant find it. It had an extra 5whp added to it due to bigger injectors added... Injectors dont add HP.. SAFC timing did. So theres allot of margins in there.

*DYNO SHEET MISSING. WILL FIND IT. DO NOT REMEMBER WHAT THE GAINS WERE AT. I believe it was 10+WHP*

URD 02 SIMULATOR LINK

Link to an 02 Simulator by URD that a few member on this forum has used before. Maybe Castro can steer you guys to the specific one he used and how to install it.

I paid 2 times that much for mine and I got RIPPED OFF. Hope this link helps a few people here.

Yep. If its allot of trouble for everyone Ill redesign a different one with a cat in it. But thats going to jack up the price to pay for the cat. But lets hope we dont have to swing that way. I want to keep it as low priced for you guys as possible.

If you think blah another Xerd. My friend is from the supra forums and he has batched a few things under his name. This batch for the solara will be under his and mine . Quality of a toyota supra owner, with the R&D from my car. :)

There are his actual product he has done for the other forum. They look just like other product you would see only they are batched copies from him at a fraction of the price. Quality is great.

From that design wouldn't the front pipe leadin' to the y-pipe interfere wit the second pipe. Exhaust wise??

Your friends' work does look f-in' good.

"NRDriver" same wit me man.

But i am interested. :D
From 2.7" to a 2.5" that wouldn't be good right.
I mean you have more flow at the Y-pipe, and then crammin' it back down.
The Greddy Evo exhaust is 2.5" the whole cat-back.....

I am also interested although i dont have the funds available at the present time and when i do, i need to take care of other issues 1st but if this is something that can wait for another 6-9 months then i am definitely in. The interest is there, just not the funds. Thanks for the hook up man!

From my experience, the straight y-pipe really opens up the mid RPM range and is worth the cost, especially for those who are S/C'ed.

As far as sound goes, it's a little different, I wouldn't call it "ricey", but they are unequal lenghts so it won't sound as good as the JPP set-up.

Gabe (TRD4Life) sold me his old 2.5" pipe and it looked very similar to the one pictured. I believe he experimented with a 3" y-pipe also and did not see lower ET's on the strip. Hopefully he will chime in, but I haven't seen him on the board in a while.

It will bolt right up to the stock catback nor any aftermartket exhaust that can bolt up to the stock Y pipe.

As for the rear drop to the pipe, it has not caused any issues BUT we're working on seeing If I can put a bigger curve to it. So far with my current set up it has not caused any issue and it does haul.

There is no ricey sound.

http://www.solaraguy.org/viewtopic.php?t=27915

Refere to this for what it will sound near to. Dont click on the first link unless you want to download the full quality.

Click on the second one and scroll to the credits where I give my special thanks. Thats how it sounds at idle.

Click on the third link I add to it and it will show how the car sounds like (with the exception of the loud SC whine in the way) at WOT..

Keep in mind I made a 7-13whp gain give or take a few Hp because of the SFAC in the way.

Our great friend has been in closed house and wont be out until next month. Cant wait to see him.

As for pipe size you are right. Unless your running pass 20psi i believe 2.5 inch piping is more then enough. Your only running 3 cylinders on each pipe. You need to still create enough pressure to recover and mantain any daily driving tq / pressure. Too big and you only get high end while low end can dent and extra dollar in your gas per tank or more. 2.5 is what we're leaving it as.

Updated new Im on the line with my friend and our other guys and YES it will be 2.5 inch pipe and it will be under 300 shipped. Price might drop even more If I can get 20 buyers gurranttee.

Please keep in mind we have no Cats running off this but with a simple 20 dollar 02 simulator any local racing shop in your area or online (I think ebay has it for 17 shipped) you WILL pass inspection no cheats. (Other then if the guy looks under the car and literrally looks at it.)

To be honest I dont know but DONT WORRY.. I havnt forgotten about you guys. Once I get a for sure answer from gen 1 and it starts into a limited produtcion, Im already jumping into for you guys. As long I dont touch your headers I dont see any problems with your car.

IMO- I think its the headers on our cars that causes the problem for aftermarket. Y pipe are easier to work with. But we will work on that more.

Also anyone has a Y pipe sitting around? stock one.
