On friday. yup, i'm trading her in. As much as i love the car i just love Corvettes more. One of my other two cars had to go. And i need my SUV.
These boards have helped me out many times with info and TSBs. So i'd like to say thanks.

good luck with your new ride.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

you know...istart to wonder....

when people here on SG sell, trade, or whatever they choose to do with their car leave, does the new owner come back on SG and become a somewhat "noobie" addition to the forum?

I'd ditch the Lara for a Vette all day. About the only domestic car I'd consider owning. Good luck with it.

I'm sure it's happened without anyone knowing. But you'd think we'd want to share the love! If you sell your car, hide a couple SG references where the dealer won't find them.

I'll never let mine go but if I did, the SG decal would be on the FSTB for sure.

How reliable are Corvettes? I read the consumer reports car magazines and the current issue say they are the worst in reliability.

I never seen one at a local car repair shop before so I don't know where the heck they got their sources from.

My Bro has a 2002 - never had any probs with his to date - but he also only drives it occasionally on weekends... (that bastard!) :x

Yes, in consumer reports for 2005 the Corvette is listed as one of the least reliable in it's category (which for some reason includes the VW beetle. I don't think you buy a vette for reliability or fuel economy.

I agree. Haven't been around here for awhile, but from the price you mention, I assume you're getting into a C5. Should last quite awhile (factory-fill Mobil 1 and all), unless abused. But most of the C5's for sale around here have been babied, though, by the over-50 crowd.

Good Luck, cablemn.
