Hello everyone I am Clay from Mississippi. I drive a 2003 Toyota Solara and a 2003 Mazda B3000. My Solara is in need of a cold air intake. I joined to find out more anout them and to make a few new friends.

My interests are web design, hosting, modding my vehicles and helping anyone I possibly can with anything internet related.

I currently work for CompUSA (no bashing please ) 8) and TNC Pro Web which is my hosting/design company. as you see I didn't link it because I do not believe in spamming a site or a forum for that matter.

I will try my best to be productive but be warned I am mostly a lurker. LOL

Yikes Man!! :o

What are you talking about? The biggass "ad" in the General Talk section as your SECOND POST on the site - as well as the running ads in your signature beg to differ!

You might wanna slow-down the self promotion a bit until people get to know you better... just some words of advice.

Welcome. After the self promotions warning, you are going to be told the following:

1. get some new rims/tires.
2. drop your car

 I think it looks nice. Is that the Mississippi river? Where in Mississippi are you?

Well I thought thats what that section of the forum was for, forgive me if I made a mistake and IMO a private message would have been better I have already pmed 2 mods to delete all my post since obviously the standards and forum topics are not what they appear to be on this forum. Signatures are or thought to be to put MY info there? Am I wrong about this?
Im not trying to be a smartass just asking a complicated question I suppose.

Plus on most forums the intro section is where you introduce yourself and give a little background info?????? Thats just what I did and you attempted to call me out, not a good move to a new member.

As for the post in "Hook-Ups" well thats just my side business I thought that was the place to post it, if I hadn't seen another post in there about "web hosting" I'd never post my stuff there.

And in closing This was the coldest welcoming I have ever gotten, even my ex-wife was nicer to me.

Well - thanks for straightening us out on all that... Not meant to be cold man - just seemed contradictory to what your 1st message said at the time, that's all. ;)

You'd be surprised how many people join groups these days just to spam-advertise their services/products. Since this is a "community" - not unlike a physical neighborhood - people contribute as well as receive. You wouldn't move into a new neighborhood and hang fliers on everyone's door the night you move in saying "hey I'm the new guy that just moved into the big blue house and here's all the services I can provide for you" now would you? ;)

Seriously - not trying to give you a cold welcome - we're all just a bit cautious and skeptical when people come in that strong - can't help but get folks a bit on the defensive that way. I've been a mod in other forums and I can't help but be that way - its' the people who abuse the system that really ruin it for the rest.

And oh - we REALLY DO appreciate you NOT double-posting and asking a lot of questions without first searching! hehe :D

So officially - here's a WARM welcome - and have a Happy Labor Day as well. :)
