1. Remove the rear seat bottom
2. Remove 2 screws in the "oh S*!t" handle on the side piece
3. Remove the seatbelt bolt
4. Remove the coat hanger holder
5. Unclip the door sill piece on the edge that connects with the lower
side panel
6. Remove one phillips screw on the bottom of the panel
7. Pull the lower portion of the side panel toward you - it's held on by
plastic fasteners (this panel will not come all the way out of the car as
its attached to the folding hinge of the rear seatback - i never felt like
taking that out and its not necessary)
8. Remove the upper portion of the panel - its held on by metal & plastic
fasteners
9. Repeat 1-8 for the opposite side
10. Remove the rear shelf

There's 2 clips on the front of the seat cushoin (if you were sitting in the back it would be right between your knees) one on each side. Just pull up and it will pop out.
Hmm just noticed your signature - you might want to disregard this as these are the instructions for a Gen 1 rear speaker removal - sorry

No worries, they were pretty similar, I probably didnt need to take out the coat hanger other than that it was right on. Yea I finally got the seat off after a really hard pull. thanks again
