hey everyone...figured I'd drop a line here. I cant believe its taken me this long to register here. I'm on a bunch of different car forums (9thgencorolla.com, matrixowners.com, mr2oc.com, newcelica.org). I realized that I wasn't on a Solara forum when I saw the "SolaraGuy.org" decal in a window at Elmhurst Toyota, Lexus & Scion Show. I'm impressed with the sweet lookin Solara's there are. So, I figured I'd get to know some people. So, I'll tell ya alil bit bout myself and my car...

I'm 19, I'll be 20 in like...7 days. I live in Lisle, IL ('burb outside Chicago). I work at Lexus of Naperville as a Technician. I graduated from Universal Technical Institute. I'm originally from Rome, NY (Home of Woodstock '99).

I'm a Co-founder of LTS (Lexus, Toyota, Scion) Tunerz (check us out at www.LTStunerz.com). You may have seen us at a car show or two. But we are getting bigger and bigger. We are now in IL, WI, OH, and soon IN. If interested in joining lemme know.

I'm known in the Midwest to set up good meets. For the Chicago Auto Show, I put a meet together with the Corolla's and Celica's. it was a great turn out. (If anyone wants to see pix lemme know). So if anyone lives in the Midwest, or if u are just passing through the area, lemme know and I'll see if I can set anything up.

I own a 2004 Toyota Corolla S. I have a few mods done, such as:

Custom Catback Dual OBX Exhaust
Custom Blue Cold Air Intake
Custom Blue Mirror Fade Tint
Polished Megan Racing Strut Bar
17in Konig Unknown
215/45/17 BFG G-Force KDW
Debadged "Toyota" & "Corolla"
and a few other small things...

So, there's my intro...sorry it was so long. But...I hope to get to know alot of people in here.

thanx for the comments...nice to see different car owners appreciating the corolla. the solara's on this site are pretty sick. I was lookin through some of em. I'm suprised wha can actually be done to a car like that. The corolla has the same problem as the solara...not that many parts. any way...hope to hear from everyone.

actually...I'm not big on the S/C. it cost like $3g's and only gives like 30-50hp(at the most). I've been lookin into an engine swap. It'll be awhile til I actually do it tho (money and time).

right now...I'm lookin into lowering it. it looks like a 4X4 right now. lol I need to find a nice pair of coil overs or some springs that arent to low. If i lower it to much, ill be settin off sparks with my exhaust. hehe.

Nice to see another member with Unknowns, there are Camry's (such as myself around as well). You hit the nail on the head about lowering it. I'm not feeling the tint or those mufflers. Some 20% or 30% black tint, TRD mufflers and some black pearl emblems to replace your T's and you'll be set (besides the lowering :lol:

its fine...everyone has their opnion. I hafta get my video of my car on here. i've actually got a good sound comin outta the exhaust doesnt sound like fart cans. and the tint look better when i first got it on. it was more blue...now its kinda chrome lookin. but thanx for the props for the rims. atleast u liked somethin...lol
