2001 solara v6 manual.
5.5 psi pulley + Apexi safc II JDM version, injen intake, greddy exhaust

1st run = 231.9 hp
2nd run= 237.1 hp
3rd run = 241.4 hp

Final run: 242.9 hp at wheels
232.1 torq at wheels

not bad i guess...ive seen some of you running at 250 hp at wheels. 242 isnt bad. ride feels lot smoother acceleration eheh im so happy 8) :P :D

this was done at Dynospot Racing at downtown san jose those of you live in Nor Cal. $185/dyno tune.

its manual tranny.

the shop didn't know how to install the SAFC II at first because they did a solara yesterday with the same afc they had to turn it down because they got stuck with the ECU im not sure. i had to bring them the diagram you sent me the other day, another print out on Happy Aggies site, and also bring in a japanese friend inorder to get it done. its works nicely =)

Am I correct in assuming that there was S-AFC tuning happening between the runs, which is why the power increased with each run?

Yes, that's what a dynotune is. You adjust settings between each run to maximize the power.

I've been wondering about where to go for a dynotune here in N. Cal. When I had my S-AFC installed with a dynotune, I had it done in S. Cal. If Cattman ever finishes development of the Y Pipe and CAI, I will need another one done!

By the way, your numbers are fairly close to mine. I have a similar set-up to what you have: 5.5 psi pulley, S-AFC, RMM intake, Apexi WS catback exhaust. I ended up with 247 hp and 236 torque, both to the wheels. I plan to do enough mods to get the flywheel hp to exceed 300, which I think is a good goal for this platform, so I probably need another 10 whp.

Motorsport dynamics in sacramento does dyno tuning for $100/hr. $65 for max hp testing.

Your numbers are pretty good. I only dynoed 186hp and 204ft lb on a auto with a stock pulley and greddy evo and injen intake. I just put on a 5.5 pulley and I am getting a SAFC installed and dynoed on 4/23. I will be happy if I can break 220. If you want to book dyno time you should call now they are booked for over a month.

only 186hp at wheel with stock sc/ injen intake/ and greddy?
correct me if im wrong, stock solara is around 158ish whp :o

hmm you must be running pretty lean...when i took mine in they told me i was running very lean. this was when i had stock s/c, injen, greddy.

installing the 5.5 pulley gave me a jump from somewhere around 200 to 231 hp at wheel. and the afc II tuning gave me finaly run of 242.9

i don't think u should lose that much whp from automatic tranny.

You are right, those numbers are low. He just got a S-afc :D so hopefully he can richen up the fuel mixture and gain some more power

Dang I hope the AFC can put more power into there, man I'm gonna get real discouraged if it doesn't. That's a big power difference!

My SLEV6 equipped with only the Greddy got 155hp/175tq. And while they were testing the a/f mixture, they told me i was very very rich?
