Dude, that looks super cool. Too bad my mighty 5S doesn't need any gauges :x! ...Oh to have a supercharger!.... Maybe when Ripp gets their 5S-FE Supercharger done, I will need some.

What are you going to build next?
Let's just pretend I didn't grow up, or you're going to be terribly disappointed.

That's exactly where I was thinking about putting them, but there wasn't anything like what you made out there. Only drawback is that some gauges like boost and AF is good to be able to look at regularly w/o taking eyes off road. I think Oil pressure and EGT would be good to put there. How much you selling them for? Jon.

for sale?

Postby Danny » Fri Mar 21, 2003 2:34 am

hey peter, i did actually notic a slight difference mainly after i have been driving for a whil and the engine compartmnet is really hot, if i step on it the power is still there. its pretty cool :) different sound too.

2nd question, yes they are for sale, the only problem is i know that there is not a huge demand for them, so larger companies will not produce these because its just not a wise investment to them but, i have a friend of mine that does fabricating, and he has designed this, to have minimal bends and awesome placement for maximum hp. It costed me 235.00 to have the first on made, that included 30$ to have ii polished by machine and flex hose and clamps and design air flow testing. Basically to make this short is that they are roughly going to cost 179.00 which includes polished aluminum pipe, flex hose, and hose clamps and a welded on bracket for stability. The nicest thing about this sytem i think is that first of you are no longer sucking in hot motor air, and possibly loosing hp, but you are getting ram cold air and definate power gains in every temperature and a deeper throatier sound. And if it starts to rain outside just put your fog light back in and in practically seals the filter away from any water. Oh by the way you dont have to take your fog light out in the first place.

I'm interested in the extension, but can you get it in my blue, or you just have the polished piping?
