Windows on an SLE Convt - bang when shutting doors

Postby Mayor » Wed Aug 23, 2006 7:34 pm

Hey Guys,

Is it normal to "hear" your windows banging inside the doors (when they are down) when shutting the doors. It litterally sounds like they are banging against the inside of the door and will shatter at any moment...

I have a 2004 V6 SLE Convt.

Thanks,

Mayor

I hear it too and I have the 04 SE. :-?
I always just try to close the window from the inside before i get out so I don't close the door when the window is open.

You mean actuator? I'm having the same issue with my hardtop but never thought about it since it works just fine when the windows are up.

It happened to my 04, passenger side. Over time I cant Lower or raise the window. I take it to the dealer and they replaced the glass "stopper" that fell out inside the door. You should have it checked.
