2007 Solara Convertable
I’m a first time Toyota owner - just bought the 2007 Solara SLE ragtop. blizzard white with tan top and tan interior pluse NAV and all the extras except for the 18” wheels. I have to say Toyota’s attention to detail is amazing, there’s not a thing wrong with the car and all the interior and exterior panels line up.
Of course, it didn’t take me long to start my modifications. Have added HID low beams, made home made foot well curtacy lights (found it to be to dark in the foot wells), installed an aftermarket back up warning system speach enabled (Anyone who has driven the convertible knows that the rear window visibility is virtually non existent.), installed the Toyota windscreen, added yellow LED lights to the center console storage box in addition to the standard Toyota accessory light kit. On the outside I added a color keyed body side molding.
Next on the agenda is to replace the black upper and lower plastic grills with chrome grills. And finally I’ll need to update my OBDII code scanner with the new 2007 are now observing the new CAN interface standard.
I absolutely love the car, it’s the most fun I’ve had in years.
