I'm still having the same problem with and indicator light.

It's not the BRAKE indicator light, its the picture of the car...with the lines coming out of the brake lights. I checked my brake fluid, and it's totally full. I'm not having any problems with my brakes, but I don't really know how to check if they are low or anything. Someone please help...i don't want to have to take my car in and pay someone big $$ to check something that i can fix myself.
I just recently installed some subs, could that be affecting the indicator light?

Also....

Lately...my accelorator has been sticking. Has anyone else had this problem? If so...can you help me out in trying to fix it?

Thanks in advanced.

The light you described is there to alert you if a bulb is dead. Make sure to test all the bulbs. Sometimes it'll come on for no reason, but usually it is because a bulb is either dead or going dead.

What do you mean the accelorator is sticking?

Okay your light bulb malfucntion indicator light (amber color located on the far left of the dash) is the one that's coming on? If that's the case, one of your brake lights are out. 3157 is what you need. I had to replace my left brake light bulb since that stupid malfunction indicator came on during my drive to NorCal from LA yesterday morning.

As for your accelerator sticking, check under the hood to see if theres any debris covering the throttle cable and the throttle pivot.

If you have the V6 there is a TSB on the throttle cable sticking. The recommend proceedure is a new one.

Thanks for the responses...

Flipside: It is the indicator light that you are talking about. When it first came on, the first thing i did was check if any of the bulbs went out. I tested while my foot was on the brake and when it wasn't. All the bulbs seem to be working though. I'll check the throttle cable and the throttle pivot when i go move my car in about 2 hours, but i don't think it has to do with that. But then again, i have been wrong about a lot of things.

NASTY: My accelorator isn't sticking to the floor. When i am accelorating from a full stop, sometimes it'll stick and all i have to do is put more pressure on it, but it makes the car rev higher than i want it to when coming from that full stop.

THanks guys. I'll let you know what happens.
