Which one is better tranny?

Well this is probally going to start WWIII in here but, stock vs stock the manual dominates for performance.

With an upgraded auto you can pull in much better and more consistent trannys. Most of the supras that run high 7s low 8s run auto with a high rpm stall converter and completely built up. The SMG tranny that BMW uses takes only a few hundred nanoseconds to complete a shift, try that with a manual. I beleive stick is the way to go if you don't have that much traffic and you want performance without having to change anything. Auto is the way to go if you plan to do heavy upgrades to the tranny

Tranny types are strictly a matter of personal preference. Stick dominates performance wise, but I'll take my auto for the comfort and convenience and driving pleasure.
