Hey guys -
I just recently moved here from Syracuse, NY to finish school. I've been on the forums before, posting in the audio section with questions. I'm looking to hang out with some fellow Solara owners and essentially teach me the ropes about the car. I've had it for over a year and put a couple things in, but nowhere near some of the mods I've seen on these forums and it is essentially still stock (2000). So, whether it is performance mods or audio mods, I'm a willing and able listener and learner. I have almost no experience with car mechanics of any forms (aside from the little my dad has taught me) and I feel like its good practical knowledge to have. So if anyone in the DC/NoVA area wants to hang out and teach me a few things, I'd appreciate it. Just PM me or something. Later!

What's up man, welcome to the forums. Northern VA here (Burke, about 4.5 miles from GMU). Audio's my passion, so if you have any questions feel free to shoot 'em my way.

I'd be game for hangin out some time, but I can never seem to get my plans together cuz of life :-P

Hey, Eddie... We gotta get a mini-meet going for DC/MD/VA locals... I've met a couple SGs around my area, and I'm sure there are a few others who would be down for meeting up some time... but we just gotta do it.

Peace,

-James

Let me know and if I can make it I'll come down. I know a really good Chinese restaurant around Rockville called Hollywood Cafe that's reasonable and supposed to be in the top 10 in the country. Jon.

Hahaha yes you did. It's cool though. I'm definitely down for hanging out sometime, but as I said I'm not exactly "in the know" about cars so much so I don't know how much I could contribute to a bunch of Solara freaks..lol. But I'm down for getting a drink or six any time, not to mention hanging out with laid-back, cool people.

Make it a weekend and I'll bring the wifey and the Camry.

This upcoming weekend is no good for me but the 26 or 27th of the month is open.
