hey yall! before i gave my car in for "the project" i noticed something that i wanted to ask all of you about...i have a s/c v6 auto...i seemed to notice that i would get 4psi boost from 0-70(roughly) and after that the s/c would seem to lose power...or drop the boost... :-? but once i hit 120...the full 4psi kicks back in!!!does anyone have a similar problem or know why?...i was wondering also if that is meant to happen between 70-120? thanx L8r moe :evilbat:

Moe,
Try to uninstall the EBC and see what happens.

Arief are you still running around with the EBC on Manual? How's that working for you so far? Any problems or complaints?

Moe do you have an intake? That might help if its an air problem, I'm not sure though just guessing.

Yup, i am still runnin on EBC w/ manual mode.

Lately, Check Eng. Lite was on and off. (abt. 1 month ago)
The code was eng. running lean.

I got S-AFC II to compensate that.

Postby xXsolaraXx » Mon Mar 24, 2003 10:19 pm

hey arief...im most probably not gonna be getting safc II only safc I will that be a prob? and yes i do have intake but the problem is not the intake its TOO precise and exact...it stops boost at EXACTLY 70 and starts at 120...arief has the same problem and he has (i think) injen....so i dunno...we'll see when my car is done...im guessing the headers will help by increasing air flow...we'll see L8r moe
