Nope... totally wrong, although the outline of the lights are the same, the actual shape of the lights are different... you still can tell the difference between Gen 2 and Gen 2.5 without the lights being on... even smoked...

I was thinking about just a light smoke, but will give it a go w/o the smoke first to see how I like it... and with the light smoke, it does not hinder the reverse lights too much (like my current smoked tails)... the "new" reverse lights have a much larger reflector, so it'll be brighter to begin with...

As to why I was thinking about it? Overall, going for a blue/black motif... that would be a part of it...

JMSinMaryland wrote:p.s. otherwise it looks "hella" clean (is that the right word?)

Yes! "Hella" is used in the correct context here!!!

One last question, Van, what type of bulbs are the new reverse lights?

3157? I figure I'd pick some up while I wait for the other stuff to come...

to anybody with knowledge about this question...

i didnt get the flasher or the load resistors yet... my turn signals... signal really fast... do you think the police would pull me over for them? or you guys think i should just go ahead and get'em? i don't mean to sound cheap... IMO i think they look pretty cool with the fast turn signals...
