whoa whoa...make sure to get a torque wrench.

I didn't use one the first time and accidentally sheared off one of the bolts that drives through the brackets holding the bushings in place.

You don't want to know how much toyota charged me to overnight a new bracket and 4 bolts...Just do it the right way and don't take the risk.

I too experienced the same problem Sap Z did. But I was able to get the last bolt started with another set of hands. It also took me a long time to do what I thought was a pretty simple install. After all was said and done the following week after the install I started thinking about the problem and why didn't it go as planned. I came to the conclusion that maybe the rear allgnment was off and was causing the problem. Well after getting an alignment due to new tires the bar settled in nicely with the bushing bar stops which wasn't the case after the install. Check the alignment before installing the bar otherwise you will struggle like most people have I believe.

trd rsb definitely decreases body roll, especially on the highway. You should be able to install yourself, just need a jack, jack stands or cinderblocks, and a 10mm, or 12mm socket (cant remember). Take off your exhaust too, it'll make it a lot easier.

I just installed my RSB from RGZTOY today. He's a good guy to deal with.

It only took about 30 minutes to install the RSB and do a tire rotation. I first dropped my exh like others suggested by removing the 2 12mm bolts behind the exh can and sliding the rubber support donut off from above the tip...this allowed my exh to drop about 15". Then I just swapped out the bars...I found the 4 12mm bracket bolts are easier to install if you just loosely pre-assemble the bar onto the endlinks and line up the bracket guides first because the 2 12mm bolts that go in at a angle could be difficult to install if everything is bound up.

Lets see, I haven't driven my Solara in a week, but I've been driving my wifes Max SE...so I have forgotten how sloppy the Solara was...so not a night and day difference to me. But I can tell ya this RSB definitely makes this car much better in the turns and sweepers. I have mine on "track", and that's just right.

THX again RGZTOY
