Hari: you are asking for durating of rotor life, which is a derivative of your braking skills and how it was treated. All in all i'm at 135K miles on my current rotor setup. And they still have meat on them. I replace pads and resurface rotors every 60K miles (regardless of any noice, virbration or anything). In Other words they have been machined twice already. Yes it may be an unnecessary expence, but i don't may go thru total of two sets of rotors for my 10 year ownership of the car. I hope this helps...I'd say get new pads and resurface the current rotors. Resurfacing (machineing) costs close to $20 bucks at pepboys (ie. 10 per rotor).
