the screeen is glue on (like 5 spots?). however, the masking process is easy becasue there are gaps in between the frame and mesh, so you can tug in the masking tapes under the frame. the gap is not big but enough for masking tapes

lets hope that applies to all the produced grilles.... aftermarket stuff is chancy :-?

CORRECTION:
The screen is not glued on, it is attached with industrial silicone all throughout the frame. There are minor gaps that are adjustable but not visible.

I just plan on getting the grille frame painted DWP when I get my front bumper redone. Highwy driving in NYC does a number on a car with 80k plus on it. Can't wait to get it. :D

Is no biggie, I can do the masking tape, I was just seeing how easy its gonna be for me to paint it. My next question, is that silicone gonna be easy to remove? Im just wondering cause when I get it im debating if I want to remove the mesh and rock it with out it. Thanks dude!

LOL I know there will be beer and spray paint involved in mine. Its gonna cost too much to order my paint at a shop just so they can paint a small piece. There is a automotive place called smyth automotive which can order any paint color in a spray paint can for $25bucks. For what little area that is getting painted It shouldnt be a problem! The beer will make it more challenging :drinking:

well if the spray paint method fail, just sand it off and take it to a bodyshop. but like i said, most of place would chage you around 75-100 to paint the piece
