per request, i experimented to spray chrome paint with one of the precious sample grill. i messed it up along with my finger prints and over spray (i sucked at spray painting because i got no patient).

it actually looks pretty real, if i can clean the surface better and without over spraying, it would looks nice.

Imho that looks like silver. I dont think there is a way to get the "chrome" of the stock grille by simply spray painting. Looks nice if you want silver.

hey blue, if you read the message I wrote I just stated an opinion of mine... I didn't go out and say go paint it chrome I want to see what it looks like before I buy... It was just cool of him to do it and I appreciate that Turbo...

the mesh is removable. however, the masking process is easy becasue there are gaps in between the frame and mesh, so you can tug in the masking tapes under the frame. the gap is not big but enough for masking tapes
