um... don't those look really similar to the Gen 2 projectors with a HID kit?

Admittedly, the glare is cut down a bit... but is it enough to spend an extra $1000 plus (for us Gen 2ers to try a replacement...)

It does look like the regular halogen projectors with HID bulbs put in them. It woulndt surprise me if that is what they did. I guess they would have to do something to allow the projectors to be moved up and down via a switch. I'll keep the xenondepot kit that I have- I am very happy with it and it didnt cost me $2500 plus to acquire.

Not much different than my HID conversion either:

And I didn't do any adjustments on the projectors - just plug-n-play.
(I do have the Fogs on in this pic - which is the two "glare" spots you see on the wall above the HID beams).

Jeff the glare above the cutoff is from the projectors,
They have a slit on them (I dont know what for) that causes the light to leak out through it, thats why you see 2 rectangular shaped glares above the cutoff.

They are squirl finders.
The light leaks out like that to light up overhead signs like on the highway.

I perfer the Gen2 with a HID kit, way more color at the cutoff. Im biased though.

u spel gud.

I dont think anyone wants to drive around with purple headlights. I'm talking about color around the cut-off line.
