HID bulbs

so im thinking of picking up some silverstars but a lot of my friends are telling me that they burn out twice as fast as factory bulbs ANNNNNNNNDDDDDDDDDDD they arent even as good. And also it'd be awsome if i could see some pics :lol:

tell ur friends they're wrong. there's plenty of threads about them, just use the search function. you'll be up all night reading about how great they are for our car

You friends might be noobies or you didn't tell them they are slyvenia (SP??) silverstars, street legal bulbs! Yeah, regular blue coated bulbs burn out quickly, but from what i've heard about these, they should last you good 5-7 years!

Sylvanias are great bulbs and should last as long if not longer as stock bulbs. Technically they are halogen bulbs, not those cheap xenon filled bulbs. I highly reccomend them

Obviously your friends don't know $hit about bulbs. If you wanna see pics, do a search on SILVERSTARS and you will find pics that I took from the past.

Silverstars are the best you can get besides HID!! no bull$hiting here, just actual experience! Ebay has some if you're looking into it.

if anyone who decides to invest in hid systems, by personal experience you can go to www.autodirectsave.com. they sell systems that are made from Hella and ballast that are from germany. I did alot of research on aftermarket hid and these are by my opinion the best out right now. I had mine in for a year and no problems so far.

1999-2001:
9003/H4 = Headlights
9006= Foglights

2002-2003:
9006 = Lowbeam
9005 = Highbeam
9006 = Foglights

BTW, all this information is listed in your owners manual.
