Pls help... will these 17 x 8" wheels fit my Gen 4 Camry V6 and what tire size do you guys recommend? With 8", it would seem tight. My Gen 4 is not lowered at this time. Any suggestions on tires... I saw threads on Toyo/Bridgestone and Kuhmo. What is best for wet weather driving?

FACTORY LEXUS ALLOY WHEELS( 100% GENUINE TOYOTA PARTS): 17X8" , 5 LUGS ON 4-1/2"(114.3mm) ...WILL FIT ON ALL GS300, GS 400,GS430, AND SC300/400 SERIES

8" is too wide... You'd have better luck with the IS rims.

Web weather driving... Gotta love the Toyo Proxes T1S... I corner in the wet as if I am driving in dry. :D

Those wheels are specifically made for RWD cars. Notice your Camry is not RWD. Look for another wheel.

I am using 18x8, no problem so far.
So check the offset, it should fit.

Just tested out with my new suspension in the rain and I love the toyos so much. They grip the road like no other in rain :D

I'm sure there are better tires out there, but coming from stock tires and snow tires, what a difference

I believe they are +55 if I recall correctly. All in all, they're the wrong offset and will interfere with the struts in the rear.

Get Yokohama AVS ES100's. Many of my friends have this tire and highly recommend it. This will be my next set after these Kumho's go.

both myself and a friend who has an '89 supra have them and we've both been very pleased with the handling, wear and wet traction. can't wait to put em back on, but only after some of these potholes are gone!

I don't have that many miles on these tires now, but when they do wear out i'm going to get those or the michelin pilots

LOL, I couldn't wait any longer. My snow tires were also wearing out quickly and I want to be able to get another season out of them

Yeah those are my top two choices for tires right now. Yokohama AVS ES100 or Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. I'm only going to get the Pilot Sport A/S if my income is a little more steady at the time I buy tires again.
