Any idea what can be used to cover/eliminate scratches on the flat grey painted areas of the interior? (glove box door, steering wheel button area )

Depends on how bad they are - but if you want a matte finish then use the satin or no-gloss finish Armor All (can't remember exactly what the actual name is - but something to that effect).

I currently use Meguiars Leather Wipes on the whole interior - works great and really easy! ;)
