looking good!
(if HRE is just a brand of wheels, why would it be the only solara with them? or do they not make them in a size or bolt pattern that would fit?)

Because each set of wheels is manufactured to the exact specifications you require, be it a standard OE configuration or an exotic, one-of-a-kind fitment!

That is not a custome octane front end sorry to say. It's a one of a kind front end no one has. Not like that ugly octane body kit or black widow.

actually, if you knew anything about the octane or the blackwidow. you would see that the body kit sides and botom are an octane. the center cut outs have been changed..some companies are making stuff like this for other cars.. granted It isnt made for the solara...the Octane molding was used when making this front bumper...take a good look at the octane and then this kit... :D
.
sorry :P

I actually do know about the black widow and octane because i've seen the 1st prototypes ever relased for the Solara (way before you even bought yours from wherever you ordered it). The Octane kit is of poor quality and made by shady VIS. The bottom portion of the front octane kit was fitted from an Accord...molded onto a Solara front. If you don't believe me...here's the first octane piece ever made (also the same kid who did the now blue Solara w/S15 headlight conversion):

Now, what more do you want to know? Check your sources first next time. You have no idea what you're talking about because I do know Rommel personally and know which front end he has. I also have seen his car in person several times considering he's part of our own club's Show Team. How about you?

You can go back to your hole now...Thanks! :P

Just my opinion, but I think that Rommel has gone too far with the mods on his car. It is almost to the point of looking gawdy. It's nice to see that someone has gone through alot of time and expense to make his Solara a one of a kind, but it's a little much for my taste.
Hey Flipside, does Rommel have sponsorship for his car? If so, I can understand the logos on his hood, otherwise it seems a little ricey to me.

With HRE's they are all custom made for what you want. Custom offset and all. One thing is for sure, not a lot of people have HRE's cause of the price. lets just say that with the rims and tires...cost as much as 2 superchargers. even though I'm broke as hell now, it was worth every penny.

Just to let you know, Ryan is right. I have a custom front end. Its a C-West off the RX-7. The sides skirts and rear are Black Widow II. Also, I have a custom-fitted Bomex spoiler.
