though i don't drive a solara i do have a very interesting engine that it shares w/ (gen2). The car is still toyota ofcourse except my engine located anywhere near the front ^^

heres a quick pic, it's not your ordinary engine as it uses other parts from other cars aswell. for now im hopping the 1mz vvti ecu can work out the difference in displacement but if not i'll get a standalone. i know some of you don't like that drive by wire so this is my best solution

thanks guys, this is a rather unique setup. it's a 3mz using 1mz intakes and a Manual transmission. there still bugs to work out but im getting there. just the whole immobilizer stopping me from starting

for those who doesn't know what an mr2 looks like here a glimps of one

i plan to get some custom cams from a local friend of mine and hope to get some gains or a big hole in my pocket lol

The engine actualy came from a 04 sienna i got for 900 shipped

then i converted the electronics and most of the intake to suite the 00 avalon. Thus i remove the drive by wire and have good old cable. Theres a setback w/ the ecu as i got one w/ an immobilizer and i got no keys

Im still worried how the ecu will react to the .3 more discplacement so i may have get a stand alone or a piggyback. I plan to get regrounded cams and a camcon by the end of summer.
