Well... it's official. Put down my deposit on my 07 Blizzard pearl w/nav today. Should have it in my hands by Friday, as it is being swapped from another dealer.

I will post pics when it arrives home... please let me know if there are any special requests.

Congrats. I have only one request. Go find some accord coupes or something and park conspicuously next to them for others to note comparitively.

Congrats weez....

Mine is also Blizzard Pearl/Ivory (drop top obviously) and still on the transport. We did the in-and-out on my CLK yesterday and even though mine wasn't in yet, the dealer gave me an 06 SE ragtop to drive as a loaner. Felt good to back in a Solara, even if it wasn't mine yet :(.

Off topic, but did you end up getting good $$ for your trade? You know, I was gonna give you a WHOLE $1000!

and i almost did yesterday on a bad @$$ 07 Solara at my local dealership (sports edition too). I'm not too fond of the Gen2 to be honest, but looking at the 2.5 yesterday almost made me get 1... good thing my credit sucks right now LOL

Did just a little bit better than the $1K mark :). Actually the whole process was quite a hoot. The friend who bought mine decided at the last minute to trade her CLK320 to the dealer for my CLK500...so we ended up doing a "menage a trade" so to speak. The dealership (Champion Austin) was great though...they went above and beyond the call to make sure the whole thing went thru without alot of pain. And they gave me a drop top loaner to boot! I highly recommend them to anyone in Texas looking for a new "Toy".

Congrats droptop!

You may get the car before me, so enjoy!

I am very interested to see how the bluetooth connection for cell phones while driving works. I heard it is very limited, only can dial up to 18#'s that u must pre program, or if you pull over and stop, u will have full access to your phone book.

Looks like I will be playing in my garage for a couple of nites.
