so it's still not confirmed if these will defitely fit or not.i figured wire the reverse into the blinker, turn the light to hyper white. If you're nervous about getting a ticket, dont do it.If you got connects with cops or mechanics to pass inspection, then try it. I wanted to see if theres a spot to add another small bulb in the light. If someone can just confirm if it will fit or not for sure so we all dont waste our money, i'de really like to take on this project. Parts department of toyota should know if this fits or not, hopefully eventhough its new.

i was thinking about drilling a new hole for another bulb and wire that up for the reverse but i wish i could see the back side of the tail lights and see if that would work...

I guess we did go off topic in the other forum.
Anyway, I was thinking of just taking the turn signal harnes and drilling a hole somewhere (don't know for sure since I haven't actually checked) to fit in the wires of the existing buck up light.

However, MikeATL, pointed out that the LEDs will probably require new wiring to replace our curent bulb for the brakelights.

im going to try and go to the local toyota dealership here and talk with one of my buddies and see if i could "test fit" a pair of the tailights if they have any. Hopefully he can even do this for me but i will have to see...i would really like to see them in person esp the back of them. Im not sure if i will have time for this but i definitly would like to try.

i just spoke to jeff, another member, earlier and he went to a local dealership by us, toyota, to his boy and he asked about the 07 tails for me. They dont even have the 07 at the dealership and dont have the lights in stock at all.He did say they might not fit.

Gotta find a dealership that has the 07 in stock for comparison.

the mission continues...

Wow - is it an internal compartmental issue that won't allow them to fit? I'm pretty sure Toyota didn't change any sheet metal on this car - just the plastic crap like bumpers and do-dads.
