yep... have seen it in person. almost like a rich light wood, with a bit of a grain pattern.

actually

Postby mmcdonald » Thu Jun 22, 2006 4:17 am

Actually the gas mileage has been very accurate for me. I get about 31.5mpg on the highway with extended cruising at 70+ mph, with up to three adults in the car (computer was verified by pen and paper.) SO that is a good thing.

The thing is, the 3.5L has VVTi on the intake AND exhaust, so it is in the same mileage range.

I never wanted a convertible, so that is not the issue. It is a good car overall, but it could be so much more. Maybe I'll just eat this one and leave it in the garage when I get the new ride, then when the money comes, drop in a 3.5L myself. Dare to dream!

:drinking:

Sorry, that's "dare to drink!"

Mine is also just as good on the gas mileage. I have verified it with pen and paper also. I do run premium through it, that may help it a little- not sure. Overall, I'm happy with mine, wish it had the OEM hid, but thats bout it.

I love my ride as is. I only wish for headers and extra HP "because it's there". Not because I need it.

Who says the Previous GEN 1/1.5 hp value was accurate? I'm pretty sure that one was exaggerated also and really less. The bottom line is we are still getting a little less than 7 sec 0-60 regardless about the hp and that is pretty good. I don't care what the horsepower number is if I get the performance I desire. And we did all buy it after test driving it, right?

lots of pics.

Yep, lots of pics for sure. Those extra rear lights on the bumper don't look too hot on a red car IMO. Almost looks like eyes looking at you.

Might be tough to wire up the manual levelizer that adjusts the height of the lights, since there is a special switch located inside of the car that does that function.
