Where can you get the sillcone spay? Do you have to take the door panel off to spray? Won't the sprayed door keep smeering all over your windows?

Like the man said spray some silicon down the sides near the rubber stripping. try a little at first, then more if needed, it WILL help. Sillcon spray is available at any hardware, home depot, etc. type stores

It may work at first, but not for the long term.

Just as a side note, WD40. is not designed to be a lubricant.
It is, in fact, a Water Deterent. It was the 40th attempt at the formula when NASA was finally pleased with the results. Hence, WD-40.

You learn something new everyday, don't you?

Rub a little bacon grease or Crisco on the edges of your windows before you roll them down. Not only does it lube 'em a bit, it smells like breakfast every time you get in your car! :D

^^ what he said.

Learn how to remove the door panal, and then lube the tracks (teeth or whatever some people call them). At times its just dusty or dirty and just needs a can of compressed air to clean it...then followed by lubrication! Some of you all have intresting ideas...bacon grease...LOL
