I've taken a few Taurus SHO's pretty easily in my stock Gen 2, so a S/C Gen 1 would blow the SHO away (no contest).

Welcome to the boards, and enjoy your ride!

SHO what?

Postby JMSinMaryland » Mon Jun 05, 2006 12:48 pm

I've taken on a Mustang GT with my Camry S/C'd and we were even. Raced a S2000 and had him all the way to 120 and that's when his car took off (that was with my Solara S/C'd) and raced a Dodge Charger, either a 3.5 V6 or 5.7 V8 (with my Camry) and had him until 100+ and that's when he had the advantage, below that I guess my lighter car/power had him and I guess having a 5-speed helps. back when i had a solara, i walked a thunderbird supercoupe @ 12psi, with k&n, and straight pipe.

my car had an alpine head unit, and a hot chick riding shotgun..

both cars were automatic, but i still walked his s/c'ed ford.... i'll just say the solara are surprisingly quick
