Sup SG Peeps. Damn it's been a while. So I come out to my car the other day and "Oh snap" somebody ran into my bumper. It's not too bad. I was able to rub out most of the damage, but there's still a crease and some bondo ( I think that's what it is) showing. Anyways I need some help. What's the best way to take care of my bumper on a temporary level. I just want to be able to paint over the existing damage until I have time to take it in for actual work or get a new bumper. Here's some pics so you guys can have a better idea of what I can to to get this lookin less like shi*. It actually looks a lot better now since I used some polishing compound to get all the paint off.

I can't look !!! These pictures are too frightening!

J/K Sorry to hear about the situation! It's not too bad looking, but personally, I wouldn't consider not fixing it asap. You've got a gorgeous ride Chris. You've got to get it back to prestine shape again.

dam, thats just enough to piss me off if i came out to my car looking like that. I've used Turtle Wax rubbing compound to get off paint on my car, ofcourse it didnt clear dents but it took off enough to make me sane again.

Ok I'm glad everyone thinks it sucks and all but I'm trying to figure out the best way for a quick fix. What happened to all my tech heads and body guys on here?! Believe me it's not as bad as it looks in the pics since I rubbed out all the paint and ish. Most people can't even tell I was hit except for after I show them. I appreciate the sympathy though...lol it's funny though I'm not as mad as I should be. Probably because there is a lot more going on in my life now besides "Big Red".

Very Zen of you Chris... But if you see a sh*tbox Honda runing around with Red stripes on it... do the right thing.

I imagine if you cover up the black stuff you'll be looking good up to 3ft away. That little dimple won't be so obvious. (depending on your paint.)

As far as a quick fix goes, since you have a solid color red, it shouldn't be too hard to touch it up with a can of paint from the Toyota parts counter.

Either that or a can of closely-matched Krylon until you can get it fixed right! ;)
