vibrating rear deck?

vibrating rear deck?

I thought there was a TSB for this problem. I get it ocassionally when listening to talk radio. Some voices vibrate the back deck.

I can't seem to find any TSB for this problem. The dealership said they never heard it and also said my car does not qualify for this TSB.

I looked through the TSB posts, but did not see one about the rear deck.

They should take care of any kind of rattling noise from the car, with or without TSB (thats what the bumper to bumper warranty is for). I had the same rattle as you before, they fixed it (don't know how) but the rear deck (near the passenger side seat belt opening) cracked a week after the fix and they had to oreder new deck for me.

New rear deck is quiet and hopefully it stays that way :)

I have about 32,000 miles on my car and i took it in for the rattle when i play music from the rear deck of my car. They told me it was under warranty and fixed it right away. Well not right away because it took a while. The mechanic told me that he put some foam in the rear deck and now there is no rattle at all. :D

I've got the exact same problem as you describe in my rear deck too.
The TSB for this is NV007-04 REAR PACKAGE TRAY RATTLE 2004-06-02

I have never taken my car in to have this fixed as I am planning to upgrade my rear speakers some day and figure I will lay some Dynamat in the rear deck while I do the upgrade.

Does anyone have this TSB saved anywhere? I can't seem to find it. I'd like to read it and maybe print it out.

The repair guys said they didn't hear the rattle but I wasn't there at the time.

Same thing here... not all the time though. I haven't had the time to take it to the dealer yet...
