I recently got my remote start installed... and now my airbag light comes on... it stays on for about 30 minutes and goes off... how can i keep it off?

Sounds like it could be a bad ground somewhere when they installed the remote start (it's interferring with one of the airbag sensors). I'd first go back to the place that installed the setup and have them trace back over their install and make sure that all the grounds are clean and secure.. If they can't find anything take it to a dealership and have them run a diagnostic WHILE THE LIGHT IS ON (you may have to wait for a while if it doesn't do it every time, cuz the diagnostic won't come up with anything when the light is off). The diagnostic will tag the faulty sensor and they can try to identify what's wrong...

The diagnostic runs around $65, and if they do the repair it will be reimbursed under warranty... if they do the diagnostic without warranty repair the money is theirs, so just be aware of that... Try to get it settled by the installers before you take it further.

Good luck!
