I'm converting an automatic engine to run as a manual in my mr2...

I need a set of stock manifolds without the pre-cats...

Any sellers? Email me at DaveMush2@twcny.rr.com

Would you have a pic taken off the internet for what you're looking for? (Or perhaps a Toyota part number.) I have a bunch of stock manifolds at work (without cats) but I'm not sure what Toyota or engine they came from.

I dont have pics of the kind of manifolds I'm looking for, only pics of what I have now and what I dont need...

The manifolds I'm looking for are shorter and dont have the bulbous things (pre-cats) attached after the collector.

The first two pics show the front header having the pre-cat... Not the part I want. I need the front header to be more like the 3rd pic (rear header) w/o the pre-cats... Short and stubby.

I believe 97-99 Camry V-6 might be what you're looking for. I'll have to do some research. We used to make the factory manifolds years ago. What a pain to make! The ones we made did not have the precat attached.

I know they were available on the 2001 Solara as the last engine I had was equipped w/ those manifolds.

That would be our old parts. I'll look around to see if we have any 3037 and 3038 manifolds left. Service parts are now made in Japan, so it may be doubtful.

The 17150-20010 is a part number for Japanese production of this part. You can also try part number 17150-0A010 at the dealer. This gets you the left hand manifold with no converter.

The right side is 17140-0A010. (Same as 17140-20010) I've confirmed the part numbers are equivelent.

Applications for the manifolds:
95-99 Avalon
97-01 Camry
98-01 Solara all. The left manifold carried over to the '02 man trans only.

I haven't been back to the engineering pole barn recently to see if we have any. We had over 500 sets a few years ago but disposed of them all when service requirements were transferred to our partner in Japan. :o Had I known then ...
