am still wondering why it cost about $300 to do. i sent them an email and they jus said they change trans, radiator, and air filter . I get oils changes free, where they inspect stuff any way but i think during the 30k they add that to it. am gonna do it myself and jus go in for the oil change.

Open the glove box, look on the side of it and there is a screw that stops it from opening too far. You can see it from the pasenger side. Just unscrew that screw and the glove box opens all the way open (facing down so make sure you clean it out before unscrewing) then you can see an air filter on a tray, pull out the tray, remove and replace the filter, stick it back in and reverse the steps. There are diagrams in the manual, its really easy to do, all you need is a screwdriver.

I got my cabin air filter by myself last time. it was easiest maintenance you can do on your car!!

i went to home depot and bought a huge air filter for a air conditioner,
(most expensive and the biggest one i could find there)
and then cut them down to the size of the stock air filter.
I paid less than 20 bux and got 6 or 8 filters out of it.

i think there was a post on that somewhere in this forum but couldn't remember...

it's like 1/20 of what dealer charge you if you pay the regular price.
