Dropped Old Solara For New Solara

Well, it's good both on humans AND cars! I mean a clear bra on a car is less visible and protects good, and a "clear" bra on a hot chick... Well, I won't even need to say anything

Congrats on the purchase. IMO I'd skip the moonroof visor as this car's moonroof is pretty quiet even when fully open.

Hey, I appreciate all the well wishes from everyone about my birthday purchase. Convinces me even more I did the right thing.

I was originally going to wait until the '07 Solaras came out, to see what the restyle was going to look like. But I like the way the Solaras look now, and you can always wait for new changes to come about.

Anticipating getting a new car next year, I test drove the Acura TSX (rear seat uninhabitable with front seats pushed back, making owning a four door a moot point), the Toyota Avalon (very nice, but screams old person to me regardless), the 07 Camry (still a family man car to me, despite the sporty redesign), the Honda Accord Coupe (no manumatic offered, and the interior is dull compared to the Solara). After driving all these cars, I kept coming back to the Solara. I just love the car too much to change to another model.

In the end, I decided screw it, treat myself to something for once in my life.

To the individual that asked, the Solara will be discontinued after the '08 model year unfortunately. But my experience is that Solara owners are unusually dedicated to their cars, so this website will continue on long after the Solara stops production.

Welcome and congrats on your swap for a new model. I take it you like the new design as well as the old.

I'm going to move this to intro for ya. Good luck and enjoy the forum and your new ride.
