Programming remote for '06 SLE

Postby Phoebe » Sun Apr 16, 2006 4:24 pm

New here; forgive me if I've entered the wrong area. I have an '06 V-6 SLE. The dealer gave me two extra remotes that I've tried to program using the DIY posted here and it doesn't work. Does anyone know if Toyota changed the programming procedures lately and if the new procedures are available? Thanks in advance.

Just out of curiosity, do any of your fobs work? None of mine did when I picked up my car, and the lights inside didn't work either. Turned out to be a piched wire in the interior light housing causing the fobs and light to malfunction...

The fob is the remote for your car.

Well, you may be able to get the dealer to program it for you quickly.

I think it's safe to say at this point that this is not a tutorial...

It's Fresh Off the Boat, meaning that the remote just immigrated here and hasn't quite picked up the American culture.
