Help: Disabling Alarm

Postby happy_aggies » Mon Feb 24, 2003 11:59 am

Howdy!

Does anyone knows how to disable Alarm for my Solara?
As y'all know, my Solara has been wreck.

The alarm did not function properly,
everytime I press Unlock, the alarm will goes off.

I have to go into the car and start the engine to shut it off.

The same thing happened if I use the key to unlock,
the alarm will goes off a soon as I unlock it.

Note: The passenger side door can't be open/moved.

Thanks y'all!

Check on teamsc3.com. I posted for you, but basically you are going to:

press unlock on the key fob
Put the car in the "on" position
Press the red hidden switch for 5 seconds.
The led to the left of your steering wheel should light up to confirm successful disarming. Its technically called valet mode.
