First road trip!!

:D

We took our first road trip in the 2006 Solara Convertible. Scottsdale to Tucson and a little golf outing. 300 miles round trip, 31.7 mpg and we only had 178 miles on the car when we left Scottsdale. Drove down via I-10 and came home by local roads. Top up on the way down and top down for the trip home. Great fun, easy car to enjoy, a little bit of wander with winds.

Lots of room in the trunk for two sets of golf clubs and luggage.

Nice little outing. That's a good way to break in the new ride.

Say, isn't there good golfing in Scottsdale already? LOL

Great golf in Scottsdale, Susan had a business meeting in Tucson and we just choose to take advantage and spend two days at Starr Pass and play golf.

Almost 180 courses in the Phoenix Metro area! Now that the winter visitors are going home and the temps are going up the prices will drop on lots of the courses.

I agree. I think this car is more entertaining to drive than people give it credit for, particularly with summer tires.
Moved on to better things...
