Ok so i was driving home earlier and I threw a CEL. Took it home to find that the EGR hose had popped off. Plugged it back in and reset the battery. When i started the car again, the idle was kinda funky and rough. Could that be the spark plugs? I have Denso Iridium IK20's. Hopefully its nothin serious, no cel tho

give a bit to settle in after you've resetted teh battery. I threw my CEL thousands of time. Its PITA but you learn from it.

what does the EGR and egr hose do? I read about it all the time but I honestly have no idea what its function in the engine is.

the egr tube is just a piece of crap. i clamped it it runs better now. I'm getting my car dynotuned saturday so i'll see hwo that goes. Then i'm gonna get a tranny cooler a thermostat and upgrade the boost. We'll see how things go
