*New Movie - TRD Muffler ROAR!

Well - I finally got a little movie up of my TRD stuff installed...
- TRD Muffler
- TRD Filter in Modified Airbox
(3.3 VVT-i V6)

Went up to Ojai a couple weeks ago and put my video cam in the passenger's seat... a bit o' wind noise with the top down but you can still hear the intake and muffler ROAR! Nice deep throaty sound from inside the car... (along with some tire squeal on those tight curves!)

...and yeah, my DV cam was just strapped around the headrest so you may get a little motion sick toward the end!

If you can strip the audio to an MP3, that would be handier for some folks with slower connections.

Great video man, the exhaust sounds awesome. Maybe next time have the camera a little higher showing the road. BTW what camera did you use? The picture is great and it picked up the sound pretty well also.

I tried that once and it sounded like crap - which defeats the purpose of the video in the first place. I can try it again with a different conversion software and maybe it will retain the sound qulaity better.

As it is, it's 4:1 compressed Mono - which is pretty degraded from the original Stereo - but also about 30MB smaller!

Thanks - it's an old Canon Optura Mini-DV with the built-in stereo noise-cancelling mic.

I didn't really have any way to mount it higher since all I had with me was the strap that I wound around the headrest. I'll rig-up something better for the next time - provided the wind noise isn't worse up high as well.

Before you tackle the twisties in Ojai (make sure to stop at Bart's books) you need to get some decent tires/suspension mods for that thing. It squeals like a fat girl on prom night. Jon.
