I know I'm the one who has post the other pics.
I have not post a close up pic of the car.
The post is about how mean the front looks and a close up.

Is that the Solara drag car that has the highly modified 2GR-FE engine?

Sweet close up pic.

Damn, each time I see those cars it amazes me more and more how realistic the paint-on grilles and lights look!!!

Odd... usually they paint the lights on as well on full fledge drag cars... They really don't have much use for them, and they're just extra dead weight... You may wanna double check that, cuz I'm 90% positive the lights are painted (along with the grille)... They always look VERY realistic, but when you get up close they are usually ALWAYS painted!! ;-)

Because they're not painting them on as much anymore - rather, they use a photographic decal. I've worked with the body/paint guy for Chip Foose and it's amazing to see these new decals for the race cars. :)

But yeah - looking at the lighting on that photo above, those look like the real McCoy! ;)

Yup, by painted I was speaking more in a general sense (as in fake); most of the ones I've seen are photographic vinyls :-) It is really badass what they're able to do!
